About William Blaze:
William Tawo Okojie better known as William Blaze (or just commonly “Blaze”) is a 22-year-old African-American hip-hop artist and songwriter out of Atlanta, Georgia. He was originally born in Miami, Florida and relocated to Georgia at the age of 12.
Due to his Nigerian Descent Blaze has always had musical influences growing up. Having listened to Fela Kuti since he was an infant. He first took an interest in rap music at an early age, completing his first written song at the age of 13. William Blaze describes his music as a merger between quality street music and what he calls “intellectual sound” and cites Michael Jackson, Al green, Outkast, and T.I. as his biggest influences.
