Bio: Will C. is a 20 year old artist, producer and engineer, close to gearing up the release of his debut album BURGUNDY. LA / IDWS2 (Abbreviated for Los Angeles / I Don’t Want to Smoke Version 2) isn’t on BURGUNDY, but it is a look into the sonic world that Will explores on the album. Will talks about his aspirations of escaping his hometown outside of Cleveland, to being an outsider while growing up, to the brightness of his future, all within 5 minutes over weaving instrumentals that go from hard 808s to sweeping strings. The dichotomy of Will’s sound and content is apparent in more than just this one track. For him, it’s all about juxtaposing soulful melody with grimy drums, and presenting his story in a unique way, as he attempts to gain fans and reach people with his message.
