Before I wrote this article i had no idea who Tony Walker (@TonyWalker618) but after listening to his “Drunk Voicemails” record I can officially say dude is on my radar. The new song is smooth and puts you at ease as you listen to him talk about the struggles he’s facing. And that’s very brave. Hip-hop was originally created as a way for disenfranchised black people to talk about the problems they faced in their life and neighborhoods, and I get the same feeling while listening to “Drunk Voicemails.” The part that blows me away the most is the fact that he wasn’t drunk calling some ratchet but rather his pops who passed away. Rest In Peace to him. Check out the all new track and let us know what you think.
