Background
T Danger is an artist from Denver, Colorado. His artist’s name comes from his family. One day, they decided that “T Danger” was going to be his nickname, and it stuck from there. T Danger started making music because of the feeling it gives off to people. He said that a lot of artists make him take a step back and think about life.
“I would put their lyrics to my life, and one day I wanted to put my life to lyrics,” he said. “It was kind of own therapy.”
One of his main inspirations is the late Juice WRLD. T Danger wants to bring out emotion in his listeners through his music just like Juice WRLD did.
“When I make music, I make songs that make me feel good, and hopefully make others feel good,” he said. “I liked how he made music that was relatable. He was really creative, so that inspires me to try things outside the norm.”
Making Music
And he’s doing just that. Before he released RRR1.5 alongside his fellow Denver artist, Kg Prince, T Danger never hopped on production that’s on this four-song EP. On paper, you wouldn’t expect a person with a melodic voice like T Danger’s to sound good on the type of production he’s been getting on recently, but his listeners have been pleasantly surprised.
“Before RRR, I was trying to sound like the mainstream,” he said.” I was trying to copy big artists, and it didn’t sound good because I can’t be them. But RRR was more me. I was making what I like. And I don’t think it sounds a lot like anything, especially in my state.”
T Danger made his first song in a library studio. He thought the song was pretty good and knew Kg made music too, so he decided to send him the song. Kg agreed and thought that the artist’s first song was way better than he thought it would be. Ever since then, the two have frequently collaborated producing great songs.
He explained that Colorado artists aren’t about the dangerous-rapper lifestyle. T Danger is the opposite and explained that he’s making music to have fun and catalyze his listener’s fun.
T Danger’s Future
T Danger said he wants to release RRR 2 sometime in May or June. He also said that he has a mixtape coming out in late March, or early April, titled, “3022.” The project is going to have a lot of space-type of production. His Instagram, Spotify, and Soundcloud have been linked throughout the article.
