Sasha Renee formerly known as “YP” and “Young Pebbles” is a rapper, singer and songwriter out of Louisville, KY, US. She sets herself apart from other female artist with a unique content and versatility to go along with a conscious southern flow. Under the management of Double A Entertainment, Sasha released two underground mixtapes. The first “A Proper Introduction” hosted by DJ Genius in 2011 and the most recent “Yearned Presence” mixtape also hosted by DJ Genius in Late 2012. Both mixtapes were released on livemixtapes.com and done well resulting in support from many underground hip-hop blogs and enthusiasts nationally and internationally. In 2013 Sasha Renee was nominated for her first KYMP KAMP music award for #1 Female Hip-Hop Artist. In late 2013 Sasha Renee cut ties with Double A Entertainment and in May 2014 signed with indie label Soul to Soul Records. In 2014 Sasha is again up for a Kymp Kamp award and is due to release her third and most mature project “The R.E.A.L. Rhymes Equal Actual Life” mixtape. At only 22, Sasha Renee has a strong fan base in her hometown of Louisville, KY and a rapidly growing fan base online.
