@PreciseEarz Reviews T.I. Newest Project “Da’Nic”

T.I. is back to being the early T.I.P. from the “I’m Serious” days. Meaning back to the wordplay and story telling. I feel this move was very smart for T.I. at this time. With him being on T.V. as a family guy it may be hard for the youth to catch on to T.I. as a rapper. In other words T.I has grown and expanded his brand. But this new project is solid work. The opening track “Broadcast Live” made me feel like T.I.P is back. Like the T.I vs T.I.P days. Just straight spitting his life style. Remember its only a 5 song project so its sweet and simple. Good way to serve this music on a platter. “Ain’t Going To See It Coming” is something for the radio for sure. Its fits the market at this time for T.I… I really hope to hear this one on the radio and in the clubs soon. That uber line was to playa. That’s the PSC tip on that banger. Tracks like “Check, Run It, make me feel as T.I is looking to find that cliché market. That choppy migo flow and that hook. Just not the original tip. Just my opinion remember. The beat is a banger but I hate hearing tip harmonize on a track. “Peanut Butter Jelly” is another track that fits the same mold as “Check, Run It”. Reason I say that T.I. brings the Young Thug flow to this track. I understand as a artist you might try new flows at times. But again wordplay and story telling is T.I. Might I mention the track features Young Thug and Young Dru. Its Bankroll Mafia, we can respect that. The last track on the project is “Project Steps”. This is my favorite on this body of work. I remember when he dropped a video for this joint. It made me say TIP backkk! Its a all around solid track. I’ll give T.I 4/5 for this project. We need more pieces of work like this. I liked how it was short and simple with good music all around.
