Equipped with just a piano, we hear a relatively unknown artist in his most intimate form. The rapper who is often seen as an outsider shows us exactly why that is the case, putting his lyrical ability at the forefront of our attention, our focus is forced toward his words which is where he shines. Whether or not you like the more vulnerable, (by no means less talented) Waltzz showcases within this project you have got to applaud the artist for seeing what the scene is doing and flipping everything completely.
WaltzzUK has put himself in a completely different light to his peers, taking the music back to its purest form. If he doesn’t manage to convince you from the first song, when the full band introduce themselves in the final song (a revamped cover of Professor Greens smash ‘Read All About It’), you feel the full force of Waltzz back to where he flourishes.
