Born on August 14, 1995 as Severina Sloboda. After a year of living in Novi Sad, Serbia, Severina and her family relocated to Kiev, Ukraine. Taking after her mother who is a pianist, Severina’s passion for music started at the young age of 5. Her knack for entertainment even traces as far back as pre-school where she would perform shows for her young classmates.
In 2003, Severina and her family returned to Serbia. As an only child of two working parents, Severina began writing. Her casual diaries/journals eventually turned into poetry, and Severina even wrote an international, award-winning song during her education in primary school. She also studied piano.
Despite her mother’s attempts to keep her far from the music industry, Severina decided to pursue a music career. At the age of 15, the music industry began to notice her. Within the following two years, Severina released a music video for her single “We Are Who We Are.” Deciding to take a break and start afresh, Severina halted all releases and began to study music production during her third year of high school.
She currently lives in United States, where she came to study Music Business. For the first time after her two-year hiatus, Severina released her self-written single, “Boss,” a project on which she has been working on for a year.
