The “Dabbin'” dance craze has been sweeping the south, and many are crediting Migos for popularizing the trend, but the trio’s labelmate OG Maco disagrees.
Maco credited Skippa Da Flippa with starting the trend by telling his Twitter followers, “@DaFlippaMan brought Dabbin to the forefront. Not the Migos. Flippa been dabbin in EVERY VIDEO he’s EVER BEEN IN!”
After retweeting messages from fans responding to Maco, Migos directly responded to the “U Guessed It” rapper by saying, “@DaFlippaMan Is In the Migo Family @OGMaco Let’s See u Set a Trend!! #Rookie.”
The back and forth led to Maco telling Migos, “I never got a dolla from any Migo but Offset. Free him. I’m starting to think them album numbers locked up wit em.”
