In an industry saturated with overly-calculated egos, it is uncommon for up and coming rappers to team up with artists outside of their affiliated spheres. It is even less common, if not unheard of, for well known underground MC’s to be willing to collaborate on a cross-genre R&B project by an artist lacking a shred of previous material, a fan base, and a face.
Dantes, from Miami, Florida drops a collaborative 3-track debut goes by the title Inferno EP. The EP in its entirety features Yung Simmie, Pouya, OG CHE$$, Amber London, J $tash and Key! along with production by Wheezy (Young Thug & Rich Gang), Chris Hurst and Ethereal (Awful Records). The contrast drawn between the distinct featured rap styles and the memorable melodies shapes a project that is appealing to the ears of underground and mainstream audiences alike.
