Kanye West and his “Saint Pablo” tour finally reached Madison Square Garden in New York this past Monday, and many celebrities took the concert to make an appearance as well. West’s set-up of the show was a general admission, which meant that celebrities were posted up in the crowd of people watching West perform on a floating stage above their heads.
Celebrities like Jonah Hill and Vic Mensa could be seen in a mosh pit below the stage at one point, while NBA player J.R. Smith was in the crowd taking selfies and appearing in videos with fans. While there were many celebrities on the floor with fans during the concert, many made their way backstage. In those who were posted up, Chris Rock was there and made sure to give an amped-up speech to all those in the room. Rock noted that the concert is one of the greatest shows he’s “ever seen in the history of rap, in the history of concerts.”
