
With 2015 coming to an end Moe Waveyy has a new single out called “I DON’T CARE” which he’s ready to push.
Artist Moe Waveyy, born Moise Lycee (Dec. 24th 1991) has obtained a strong internet following over the years. Originally from Spring Valley NY, he began rapping at the age of 12 after winning a Hawaiian Punch rap contest sponsored by Bow Wow. In August 2011 he hooked up with engineer Tony Hood and DJ Noize of Germany to release his school themed mixtape “NEXT SEMESTER’. His first music video ‘Chillin’ went viral and helped build Moe’s fanbase “Waveyy GanG”.
Four months later he teamed up with one of Orlando’s Hottest DJ’s, DJ1Hunnit to put out ‘THE WAVE’ mixtape. During this year Moe built a solid fan base and remained relevant with various music videos and a web series entitled WAVEYY’S WORLD.
In 2012 Waveyy signed with Indie Label iGoodfella Inc. That summer, he released his highly anticipated Free Album “THOUGHTS OF A DREAMER” which showed a more personal side to the rapper and it also broadened his fan base. The project received a great reception and his single “Believe” became a fan favorite. Towards the end of the year Moe ended up parting ways with the label due to creative differences.
Waveyy then released his EP “NEW WAVE ERA” on January 25th 2013. His latest projects include his video Ninety-Fivin which was released on WorldStarHipHop August 2013 as well as his new mixtape “RECOGNITION” which can be heard on SoundCloud and Livemixtapes.com. The following year, his music video for Good Vibes Only was premiered on Worldstar again. In December of 2014 Moe Waveyy opened up rappers Vince Staples, Pro Era and Joey Badass on the B4DAMONEYTOUR. His jazz ep “RHYTHM & WAVES” was also released before the new year.
In 2015, Moe Waveyy performed in Miami for the ROLLING LOUD Festival headlined by ScHoolboy Q. As his momentum grew Moe was booked for more shows. He performed in Tampa at the TAKEOFF LANDING festival headlined by Travis Scott. in June Moe released his latest EP entitled “SAMPLES” on iTunes and Spotify along with his single “Sun Comes Up” where he speaks on police brutality and injustice. The project and single received a lot of love from hip hop blogs and brought Moe a ton of new fans. He’s since opened up for Post Malone, Mick Jenkins, Denzel Curry, and recently finished the Florida portion of Joey Badass’s WORLD DOMINATION TOUR.
