The track is by Brampton/Toronto native, Kyle Wildfern (@KyleWildfern), which also features a guest verse from fellow member of the WAYCOOL collective, Jordan Cassius (@JordanCassius). The production to the single is handled by Alastair Alston (@Narcotic_Being) and the mixing/mastering was done by Trouble (@TroubleMuzic), all based in Canada. It was released via ACURE Records yesterday (June 8).
This shows the versatility that Kyle possesses as an artist, he recently released ‘Drink Deep’ EP, which is a musical project consisting of 6 songs and was well received by the public. He then went onto launch his ‘Wild Wednesdays’ series, which isn’t your typical music series that has something dropping each week on a certain day, instead Wildfern uses it as a tool to drop specific releases, including ones that didn’t make the cut for his upcoming release, Presque Vu, on random Wednesdays throughout the whole of the summer.
SWISHswish is the prequel to the track switchSWITCH, neither of which are going to be ‘Wild Wednesdays’ releases, but you can expect the follow up to SWISHswish very soon as there is a lot being prepared, sonically, for Wildfern’s ambitious year in the coming months, with a few surprises releases also being in the works, too.
You can expect more music to be announced, with the next release looking to be the third part of Wild Wednesdays series.
