Khaliq Clinton better known as King YK is a rapper, actor, and a young entrepreneur. Rose in Harlem, NY. This young king started rapping at the age of nine after observing and constantly being inspired. He has always been exposed to artists in rap and R&B; his passion developed and grew stronger every year. By the age of eleven his street shows and you-tube statuses had reached producers and caught the attention of Michael Bivins from (New Edition). Soon after meeting King YK, Michael Bivins signed him a deal. Making him the youngest artist on “Sporty Rich Records”. His contract shortly ended on his 11th Birthday. King YK recently graduated high school. He has worked with numerous producers such as Rsonist (The heatmakers) who has produced songs for Dipset and many other artists. YK has also worked with “Black the Beast” who has produced songs for Jason fox and Diggy Simmons. King YK spends most of his time writing, creating beats, and rehearsing for shows. While in the studio with Matt Apostle, He started to pick up a new sound; it got more attention from an older crowd. Now at the age of 19 King YK he is currently working on building his brand Crown Gang and his own independent label Royalty Entertainment™ with his manager Makera Fuller and Partner in Crime Matt Apostle.
