The Philadelphia MC on the rise releases his debut effort after months of building anticipation. Records like ‘Corey Album Coming 1&2’ have served as promotion as it got fans & supporters to follow the rise of the MC. On February 27th Lee performed on the Hot97 Who’s Next show at the legendary SOB’s venue in NYC. He was able to gain more national recognition when the first single off ‘A shot in the dark’ was premiered on Vibe Magazine. (‘Remember’ produced by 808 Trel was premiered on Vibe Magazine February 15th). Corey is looking to elevate even higher with the release of his album and he is slated to perform at the legendary SXSW festival this year. ‘A Shot In The Dark’ is “What I am, the person you’d never think of. That one nothing that turned into something, that last person you’d think of. Also it was my way of showing people what a person can do when given the opportunity” Corey says when describing his album. The 11 track project features production from rising producers such as Cousin Vinny (Produced ‘play with me’ for 21 Savage & PNB Rock) as well as KilConfirmed (Produced ‘whatever you want’ for Mir Fontane) and has no features. Corey looks to turn ‘A shot in the dark’ into a Visual Album by providing visual treatment for each record on the project.
