Fro, that’s an interesting moniker. What does it mean? Fro come from Frose’ they use to call me that as jit. Made it into a acronym that means F*ckin Real One, cause it is what it is with me all the way. Im not tryna be anybody but me thats the only role i can play in life.
Where you Reppin’ exactly? Tallahassee Florida – 850 all the way!!!. Also rep Nigeria, my people from there i grew up on they culture in my early life.
Your style is quite interesting as well, How do you best sum up your sound?
I can’t really sum it up but probably just a mix of genuine melodies and real lyrics. People tell me they can hear the nigerian come out of me when i get into a certain mode when making music, that’s usually when my best work is done.
From a content standpoint, what do you base your rhymes on? My rhymes come from feeling and true emotion from my past to present. I Can relate to the struggle, the hustle, and the different things that life throws. I’m not only gon’ talk about drugs, money, cars and women.. that sh*t get boring. I can make music about ANYTHING!!!
So, when did Fro first become interested in music?
Initially i was first interested from listening to Michael Jackson, i came cross his music when I was 6. My old lady use to blast him and all types of music on the speakers. When i was 11 i wrote my first rap to that Nas and Quan track “Just A Moment” took the flow and all.
Do you have a favorite record of yours? And why? Hard to say, but probably O.S.O.M , It’s Outta Sight Outta Mind, I say some real sh*t… like I’m talkin’ to myself.

Whose sound were you most influenced by?
Pac, Biggie, Lil Wayne, Drake, Michael Jackson, Future, J Cole, Gucci, the list keep goin’…
Did you always aspire to pursue rap professionally? I didn’t till’ i realized how much i was starting to write since i was 17 . I was just writing random thoughts and rhymes down. By the age of 20, i developed my sound and then decided to go hard and aggressive.
With today’s short span of hit making artists, how will you maintain your longevity in Hip-Hop?
By talkin’ about more than the basic. What’s real will last forever..I make music that you can go back after years and still hear it like your first time. Fake catchy sh*t gets old and played out quick, that sh*t be luck to me.
For those who don’t know you personally, who is Fro?
A real one from Tallahassee Florida. Real humble dude with a split personality. I can be chill and humbled out or be I’m gettin to it stay tf out my way. I give you what you give me but all in all just a solid shooter from a lil city.
What other things do you love?
Jesus Christ first and foremost, basketball, my momma n my bed (I’m sorry), money, women but not these h*es, weed a must, lol and good vibes.
What are your future plans in this business?
To be at the top of it, if nothing less. I wanna link with everybody and just be a positive addition to people lives. I wanna grow and open doors for people not just in music but in business period. I plan on owning a lot and putting whoever got a vision like me on.
Your debut single is due out soon, right?
Yea, it’s called “Get Me There” I’m looking for it to to take me where I need to be for now God willing. It’s gon’ be sumthin for everybody bet dat.
