If you aren’t familiar with Dough Boy aka “Doughboy Sauce,” now would be a great time become acquainted. The Ballatician Ent. CEO released L.O.A.D. (Life of a doughboy) over the weekend. While most artists are offering EPs, Doughboy has gone against the grain, and released an astonishing 20+ tracks. Throughout the project, his raspy voice can be heard delivering truths, as if he were delivering a sermon from a pulpit.
L.O.A.D.’s production credits include the legendary Mr. Lee, X.O., and Dough’s younger brother & “Flicka da wrist” producer FredOnEm. Always one to do things in grand fashion, his features include: Doughbeezy, Sosamann, Sauce Walka, Sancho, Manny Sauce, Snootie Wild, Dat Boy Chyco, and many more.
On the first track, “Dah dah” featuring Sauce Walka, Doughboy finds him-self reminiscing about the drug game, speaking on his upbringing, and his expensive taste. FredOnEm provides a great backdrop for Doughboy’s infectious lyrics and Sauce Walka’s clever punch-lines. The entire project produced enough hits to be added to almost anyone’s favorite playlist.
