22 year old John The Profit is an indy rapper from East Atlanta. He is currently working on a collective to be released in Fall called “The God Body Science.” in John’s words, “I started working on it around 19 When I ended up interning for Big Boi of Outkast at Stankonia Studios. When I wasn’t scrubbing toilets, I sat in sessions with Ray Murray (Organized Noize), and sometimes Mr. DJ (Earthtone III), who in turn taught me how to sample/ produce records (in between political debates and life lessons). Fast-forward two years and here we are now.” With the release of his first single “Color Theory” John hopes to put the rap game on notice.
