Being creatively driven, Don Choo has been fueling his musical career since his early teenage years. By the way of the popular go-go music while growing up in the District of Columbia, Don Choo sought out to pursue a full-time career in music. His lyrical keen and style is described as a mix of street style infused with a savvy yet humorous delivery. Transitioning into the world of Hip Hop, this emcee got his first break by signing a major record deal with RCA Records early 2000, but was later forced to being released from the deal due to some past choices in his lifestyle that was made. Don Choo’s musical influences come from the likes of Hip Hop legends to include Jay Z, Notorious BIG and Young Jeezy to name a few. Fast forwarding to his musical career now, Don Choo released a new single entitled “Boston George” where it channels a glimpse of the life of a well-known drug boss “George Jung.” It was more of an inspiration because this same guy got a second chance of living life when he was released from prison recently. The single will be featured on an upcoming compilation mixtape from the label entitled “OYMINATI.” The project will highlight and be an audio showcase from all of the talent under the label, and slated to drop late summer 2015.
