Having gone from the History Channel’s Gangland TV series to making music videos that have garnered millions of views, Jeff Chery’s road to the American dream has been anything but conventional.

For his latest single, Scavengers, the Haiti-born, Brooklyn-raised and Atlanta-based rapper takes viewers on a visual journey from his days as a Crip on Gangland’s Clash of the Crips episode to fostering the self-proclaimed “Haitian Mufasa” sound that is garnering him attention from media and fans alike.

Directed by Derek Films, the video is interspersed with performance scenes from Jeff and the harsh realities of the streets in which he came up as he revisits his upbringing.

A follow-up to I’m Sorry, Scavengers features production from Supreme Team and appears on the Rolling Stones 2 mixtape, which was also hosted by Jeff and has garnered hundreds of thousands listens and downloads.
