Watch as Bay Area artist Fe Raw travels around New York City in the visual for her freestyle to Drake’s “Pound Cake.”
Since age 16, Fe Raw (age 22) has gained fans across the world, with her music first premiering in the Jerk Movement (Los Angeles based dance/music movement that became popular worldwide in 2006) which eventually led to landing on MTV’s music video rotation. Influenced by the messages of Lauryn Hill’s music and Jay-Z’s world play, Fe Raw’s lyrical ability, creativity and style is what grasps the attention of listeners and sets her apart from other female hip hop artists today. Her motivating energy and overall message as an artist is “Don’t be afraid to be yourself. Weird or not. Flourish and remain cozy.” Without a management team or label backing, Fe Raw has opened up for plenty of today’s top artists such as 2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar and Nicki Minaj (just to name a few) and has been featured on numerous magazines, popular music sites and blogs. Still on the rise, Fe Raw is currently working on her first extended play album titled “Classick” along with new visuals. Check out her newest mixtape entitled Thrilla From Manila.
