Raised in the heart of SouthCarolina, born Ahmad Hart allias Buddy Boi hails from the city of Greenwood S.C. Known to some as the Soul & Struggle, BuddyBoi was influenced quickly by his surroundings. Influenced by artist such as Ice Cube, OutKast, Goodie Mobb, UGK, & FLATTIES by the time he was 12 yrs old he was penning his own rhymes & for his friends. Today BuddyBoi focuses more on the social issues of today’s society. Being around both worlds , BuddyBoi tells the tales of both managing a 9-5 & being surrounded by the street life in which he lost many friends to the grave & the prison system. One being his family & rhyme parter Lil Jimmy. All tho he speaks on touchy subjects, he’s not just a country conscious rapper, he also emcees with the best of them. Gaining a 3rd place spot in the BET Hip-hop cypher,& sprite freestyle 2012 hall of fame, & several accolades from Coast2Coast Mixtapes, nominated 3x for the South Carolina Music awards he takes his craft very seriously. HE is co-founder of both MGM/TSG entertainment.
He has worked with acts such as Young Buck, Project Pat, Shad da God(Grand Hustle)Bloodraw, Bohagon, Sean P(YoungBloodz) Young Noble (Outlaws), YUNG Ralph & many more to come. His latest instalment “Soul & Struggle USA” hosted by LEGENDARY WALLY SPARKS & DJ BURN ONE has been highly acclaimed by many bloggers & magazines. After losing his mother in late 2014 he still strove to greater expectations like she would have wanted.
