Chinx Producer ‘@KayohBeats’ Talks About Landing His Very First Placement On CR5 Mixtape

Tampa Florida music producer KayohCookItUp posts about how he got his first placement with Coke Boyz artist Chinx on the Cocaine Riot 5 mixtape that dropped back in 2014. Since then Kayoh has worked with artist such as Kevin Gates, Futuristic, Mike Stud, Young Dolph, Bankroll Fresh, Rich The Kid, Larry June, & more.

On December, Chinx released the video for the ‘Holla Then’ single with Worldstar that Kayoh landed the placement with and caught him by surprise because he thought that they were keeping the footage for something else.

2 years ago today we lost the homie @ChinxMusic I never really told the story about this but @BottomFeederMus was working on a project & grabbed a beat from me & put the 2 of us together on “Faded” ft @MarioAbrams & as soon as it dropped I hit Chinx in a DM & told him who I was & wanted to do more with him. Chinx hit my line at like 4am a couple nights later with @Meetsims & told me he really fucked with my beats & he wanted to fly me out to work with him on the album and everything. I sent him 3-4 emails of beats that night half way sleep lol & he used one of my joints & recorded “Holla Then” that ended up on CR5 but I didn’t know until it dropped lol. I was so hype cuz that was my first project placement. They spelled Kayoh wrong but we got that fixed lol. #ForeverChinx 🙏🏼
