OE movement is pretty strong on the Northside of Atlanta. Right now they are expanding the brand with artist Phil Marks. His record “Chasing”is a problem. Have to admit this record has a great A-town summertime vibe to it. Give you that “Swing My Way” type of feeling. If you ask me OE may have one on their hands. Phil Marks has a nice voice, rather hear that than a auto-tune record. He reminds me of Verse Simmons a little. Telling the story of being too deep in chasing a chic down. Being honest on a record now days can have you on top. I can tell your still alone when the rooms crowded. That’s a deep line on the hook. OE’s Roe comes in with a smooth verse to rep a street dude point of view. It’s not always lovely, when your m.i.a. Closure to stay focused is what Roe raps about. With a lot going on he still delivers a solid verse. Far as on the beat Doe Williamz aka Macfly Beatz really went in on this one. Shows how talented this guy really is. I didn’t see this one coming out his catalog. Doe has been around for a while creating his own unique sound far as production. Overall the OE team is winning, check out the record below.
