Atlanta’s Next Underground Wave Of Talent For 2021

Atlanta’s Next Underground Wave Of Talent For 2021

Atlanta is stacked up with talent. From all sides of town Atlanta can give you different vibes. 2020 was a year that I would consider a filter. A lot of the bullshit got flushed out. And now it’s nothing but fresh new talent ready to takeover. With Spring approaching and Summer being right around the corner. It’s only right that I showcase some underground gems who deserve the attention. Understand this list is based on artist I’ve covered on my blog. If I never wrote about you, I can’t judge your music.

The Southside of Atlanta is stacked up with crazy Talent. The first artist up to bat would be Nezzus. He’s ahead of his time when it comes to his sound. His fashion sense is out of this world and he’s the 1st punk rap artist coming out of the Southside. Let’s just say Nezzus is outside the box with his sound!

I’m super happy that BEAR1BOSS linked up with Popstar Benny. It was a smart move for his brand. You are now looking at the next big thing coming for Lil Uzi Vert spot. If you ask me BEAR1BOSS is more animated than Uzi. Most of BEAR1BOSS music has to be played on replay. His songs are barely 2 minutes long. He knows how to get you hooked.

Looking for lyrics and a solid delivery? ScaleBreaker Blo makes it look too easy and he’s really rapping. Understand the 2727 movement should have a documentary. It was like a down south version of the Wu-Tang clan. A lot of talent came from that movement. ScaleBreaker Blo is back and he seems more focused this time around. The Southside of Atlanta is a jungle but ScaleBreaker is tunnel vision.

Glokk40Spaz should be signed by the end of the year. He could have a deal right now with the proper plan in place. He makes music that’ll have you turning into a straight savage. His flow is distorted with nothing but demon vibes. Raw and uncut is what the world wants. Glokk40Spaz has next and nothing stopping him from rising to the top!

Nutso Thugn is bigger than just a rapper honestly. The man is really a producer and is crafting a sound that’s being copied. He really deserves a lot more attention but his time is coming. Nutso continues to work and he’s consistent with dropping visuals.

If you ask me 95 Reddo should be sitting on top of the world. He’s just authentic with his sound. Reddo has a solid audience and he’s consistent as hell. I don’t believe Reddo is originally from Atlanta but he’s out there. He can drop a line or sing a melody either way it goes, Reddo a winner!

It seems like Profit Child is gearing up to make a run. He has the charisma to become the next big thing out of Atlanta. His video “Fed Up” really had the right people tapping in to his sound. He reminds me of Yung Mal a little to be honest. Profit has to work on being more consistent with his music but the potential is there.

Woo Da Savage I just found out about but she’s straight fire. Her latest video “K9” grabbed my attention. After peeping her delivery and how comfortable she is in front of the camera. I believe she might just make a run this year. Don’t get caught sleeping as I did. Woo really got some solid talent that might just get her a deal.

Jico337 still has work to put in but he’s determined. I believe he’s ready to show the world he has what it takes. His hair is what will catch your attention but he has the music to back it up. Jico337 puts his soul and pain into his music. He’s pretty solid with dropping visuals to help grow his audience. His flow is different because he gives you melodies but at a rapid pace. A lot of people are sleeping on Jico337 but I believe this might be his breakout year.

Lil Doug

When growing up the cartoon Doug was my favorite. With saying that, Lil Doug is starting to become one of my favorites out of Atlanta. He reminds me a lot of Quavo when it comes to his flow and style. He mixes the fast melody rap with singing harmonies. Lil Doug has been on his grind but he’s been putting things together more carefully. I feel 2021 might just be Lil Doug’s breakout year.

Shyne Grady has an artistic outlook when it comes to his vision. It’s deeper than the lyrics and the beat. His image and sound all come together as one. It seems like 2021 Shyne is getting the attention he deserves. Will his painful soul horror trap sound be the next wave?

It’s been a long road for Sleepy Rose but he’s made it look beautiful. After losing so many close ones to the streets. Sleepy inked a deal with 2 Chainz label TRU. After turning his life around and growing into a new man. Sleepy seems ready to takeover the world by storm with his painful music.

This man Peso Montana is taking over the clubs of Atlanta with his dance. The song “Hit That MF” has everyone talking about his Tippy Toe dance. Peso has found a way to go viral on IG and he’s stepping out everywhere. It seems like Peso might just have a smash record and dance for the summer. He’s putting on for Tucker, Ga in a big way! Congrats to Peso he’s been working hard for a while.

Looking for timeless music? Introducing AtlCasual and his sound is next level. It’s not music he’s creating, it’s more of a feeling he’s giving you. AtlCasual lives by his name and takes the music industry day by day. He’s still developing a core audience but he’s a hidden gem just waiting to shine.
