Atlanta’s Juneteenth Fest |@teaacup_

For those who are unfamiliar with the “Juneteenth” holiday, June 19, 1865 marked the first celebration of the official freedom of slavery, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed in 1863 by Abraham Lincoln freeing all African Americans.

Umojalife’s (@umojalife) annual Juneteenth celebration not only recognizes the emancipation of a beautiful people, but shadows growth, accomplishment, beauty, and UNITY in our community! Our festival will highlight the talents and achievements of the kings and queens in Atlanta.

Come enjoy this family friendly event full of live art, moonwalks, performances, speakers, vendors, face painting, henna tattoos and FREE FOOD for all ages!
